We have a customized menu that loads automatically when we drop an Arx file in a drawing. For an unknown reason, for a few installations, AutoCAD closes without any message after dropping the ARX file. What can cause this behavior ?

Here is an update, that maybe will ring a bell. I still have the issue with random users. It does not seems to be the computer on the AutoCAD installation, because on the same machine, if we log on a different user's account, the issue is not there, the arx loads just fine. I've seen this behavior on 4-5 different users now...a real mess.

The event viewer tells us that its the ntdll.dll that crashes, but I did not find anything yet. All hints would be appreciated.

This is not the final fix. I was saying that on a user's account it does not work, but if we log on a different user's account its working, so we know it is not the machine itself, and we know that it is not the AutoCAD installation. But I am looking for a solution to make it work on that specific user.

If we try the same user on a different machine, it wont work either. So the main goal is to find WHY it fails on that user's account.
