Hi All,

I am trying to get 3dscale to work properly. No matter what I do it always scales in all 3 axis. I click the 3dscale function, select my object, click the axis I want to scale, choose my scale factor, but it always goes in all directions. Is there a setting or something that I missed or am I doing something wrong. I have watched several videos and everyone else doesn't seem to have an issue.

Thanks for your help

Hi Jim,

you are talking about "my Objects":

Are they MESHs?

Non-uniformly scaling is available for meshs only!

[F1] 3DSCALE info

You can create a block of your objects, then select its insertion to explore the properties palette.

There, you will find the 3 different scaling settings that you can change individualy.

You may explose the block after that process, if needed.

Some won't explose due to some solids ... depends on the objects you included

Here I put a Y scale different from 1

It is interesting to know that you can still specify X [then ENTER], then its value, or Y or Z in the insertion point specification process. Give it a try, it works on inserting a block or pasting objects.
