Library tab on block palette "File not found"

Autocad 2023, installed on system previously running 2019.

Experimenting with the Block palette, and I get a file not found error when clicking the library tab:

The rest of the tabs appear to work as expected.

Any suggestions to fix this?

We upgraded from 2020 to 2023 recently - and checking my AutoCAD 2023 install, I also have the "File Not Found" but on all tabs in the Blocks Palette except "Current Drawing" which seems to be working as expected.

See below, there should be some navigation icons you can use to select a file or folder

Your screenshot shows an incomplete palette either way, this top section should be present:

You will need to reset or reinstall your 2023 to remove all migrated content, test, then consider migrating your older version content in smaller elements.

@pendean Tested in AutoCAD 2020 and blocks palette has full functionality. In AutoCAD 2023, three tabs completely blank (well expect the error) and no controls at the top. As far as I am aware, we did not migrate anything forward on our install images (will confirm with CorpIT, internal contact who structures our corporate installs).

Ensure you have the 2023.1.2 update installed: your ABOUT command will confirm it for you.

@pendean Confirmed - we have AutoCAD 2023.1.2 installs for our staff. I also checked with a few other staff and same issue, those three tabs I noted in my earlier screenshot - all displaying errors.

I don't think Autocad 2019 had a blocks palette, just the tool palette that we all know and love.

There is no migrated content.

I try to avoid carry-over issued by configuring manually and checking each phase, time consuming but arguably less hassle that weeding out legacy problems.
Apart from when the problems aren't legacy. 😞
Current drawings, Recent and Favourite tabs all behave as expected.

@GilesPhillips Thanks for the information: your BLOCK palette screenshot shows missing features, so I'm going to guess your 2023 installation is defective.

A reset or repair reinstall might help: ensure you have the 2023.1.2 update installed too.
