Problem with 'cal function - freezes

I am using AutoCAD 2022 and sometime AutoCAD LT 2022 - same computer.

The transparent calculator input, object snap expressions does not work - cursor freezes when I am supposed to select object for snap.

For example, in Line command and prompting for me to pick next endpoint; I enter 'cal and then something like "end+[1,0]" then prompts for me to select object for end snap, but cursor freezes so I cannot select. Have to ctrl-C to terminate. Same in either version of AutoCAD.

I have used this computer in the past on earlier versions of AutoCAD without this problem.

Anyone have similar experience, know how to resolve? Thank you.

This is a bug in AutoCAD2022,
This has been fixed in AutoCAD2023.
