You can't.

Hello,

The generic table I am using for a Room Sqft chart is referencing a PLINE to display the sqft. If I copy/mirror the PLINE with the Table, the new Table maintains the original PLINE reference. If I do this with a Field within a TEXT object, the PLINE reference updates to the new PLINE the TEXT was copied/mirrored with.

Q: How can we have the Field within the TABLE reference the new PLINE it is copied with?

Your floating fields are tied to each copy.
The TABLE Fields are tied to the original.

Table Fields are just locked like that, sorry. Nothing in the program will update it to follow the copy.

EDIT: I've not tested it, but I wonder if your table field was only copying the floating Object field if that would work for you as a workaround. Test it out yourself. If you don't want to ever see the floating object field then just set it to a noplot color like RGB 255,255,255.
