Solid edges showing up in my paper space

I want to get rid of the solid edges of my 3D model in the paper space. To clarify I am talking about the wavy lines you can see in the paper space. I have tried to change it to only visual lines and they are still there. I have also tried to modify the visual style and I found a way to hide them in the model space but they still show up in the paper space. This model was made with the loft command between different cross sections if that helps. I have attached the AUTOCAD file if you want to take a look for yourself.

you may be able to fudge the look you are trying to get with section planes
