Data variable chronology (Windows 11)?

 Hello,

Normally I switch between my different programs by the key combination [ALT]+[TAB]. The order of that list is chronological: the program I use now is position 1, the program I used before is position 2, …, the program I used a long time ago is last position.

Usually I have to switch between MS-Word and AutoCAD. In the past this was possible via 1x key combination [ALT]+[TAB].

A few weeks ago I upgraded to Windows 11. Since then I have the following symptom:

The AutoCAD programs are no longer listed chronologically. The chronology is only applied to all other programs (Microsoft, Itunes…), but not to AutoCAD. After an hour of work (and switching between multiple programs), the AutoCAD drawings are at the very bottom of the chronology.

Result: I would always have to use 10x key combination [ALT]+[TAB] to switch between MS-Word and AutoCAD]. This works much less smoothly.

Can this be adjusted somewhere?

Thanks in advance, and greetings,

 Timmy

No idea of the reason but you can still [ALT]+[SHIFT]+[TAB]

A poor answer but an answer 😊

Thank you both.

[ALT][SHIFT][TAB] was unknown to me. Moreover, it seems that key combination was necessary to make the chronology at [ALT][TAB] work as before.

It could be that the key combination [WINDOWS][Z] is the cause fort his recovery.

Finally, problem solved. I’m able to work fluently again 😉 .

Bedankt beiden.

Terug vlotheid in mijn werk 😉 .

Damned, I cheered too fast. The solution was apparently short-lived.
Over time, AutoCAD fades back to the end of the chronology...
I already ended some programs that I use less.
I think it might help if I open only 1 AutoCAD drawing (unfortunately I usually work in several drawings at the same time).
Additional tips are welcome.
