We're having some issue about cad/dwg file.

Some file doesn't open using higher version of AutoCAD like LT 2023 that we're using, but if we try to open that specific file in 2015 version of AutoCAD it can open and nothing issue

I thought its not hardware issue because were using Inter 11th and 12th Gen 16gb ram and windows 10/11 for the O.s

Hi @qdst_nkgala ,

There may be corruption in the old version AutoCAD file, old data or plugins causing conflicts in the new version.

I can suggest you to repair your file first and then try other steps with the methods mentioned in the link below;

Older drawing files freeze when opened in newer versions of AutoCAD

Hi @qdst_nkgala ,

I tried to examine the file, but I also encountered the same error and I did not have a chance to examine the project because I did not have the old version installed. I think the cause of the error is serious corruption in the file, or graphics card updates. As graphics card updates, such problems may be encountered in opening files that were working in the old version. You can even examine another discussion on this subject in the forums below;

At this point, it was stated that replacing the graphics card updates with the old one would be the solution, unfortunately I have not experienced this, I am not sure it will work. But if you are sure that the file is intact and free of corruptions, you can try this method.
