    <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Hi guys,&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;I am trying to re-draw an existing drawing with scale 1:200 and I am a bit confused how to scale and draw it accurately.       <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Hi guys,&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;I am trying to re-draw an existing drawing with scale 1:200 and I am a bit confused how to scale and draw it accurately.       <description>&lt;a href="https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/13326373"&gt;@epolydorou01&lt;/a&gt;  You seem to have dimensions in there.... so you attached that image in AutoCAD, draw over it t whatever scale it comes in at, when complete you use ALIGN command to scale up what you drew to a line drawn at one of those scales (like the horizontal 9800 or 8044 dimension).&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Even better if you are on subscription nd can install the free  Raster Design Tools to help cleanup and fix the noise in that image too.</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/13326373"&gt;@epolydorou01&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;-Insert your drawing into autocad&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;-Put the drawing on a layer and lock it&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;-Trace over the whole drawing geometry on someother layer (dont trace over dimensions tho)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;- Once that is done, use a measurement on your drawing for a scale refrence.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;Trace a line perfectly over the 2100mm dimension line.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;Next draw a line that is truly 21100mm long.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;Then use your traced line and scale reference it up to your real length of 21100mm&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;- &lt;STRONG&gt;Your drawing is now to scale&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;- Increase your dimstryle to 1:200&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;- Now fine tune all of dimesions and dratfting element to match your drawing&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;- Finally put that on a template with a 1:200 scale&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;OR&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Post your drawing and we'll scale reference it for you...&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I would scale the image to the correct size before drawing over it.&amp;nbsp; This will let you draw linework as it is dimensioned.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Still trace it but use the actual dimensions.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/13326373"&gt;@epolydorou01&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp; Here is your drawing to scale 1 : 200 on a 11X17 sheet.&amp;nbsp; Drawing would look a bit better at 1:150 or 1:120 scale which i have also included.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;As for the angles, see annoted image.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;important information for you :&amp;nbsp;&lt;/STRONG&gt;this drawing has been drafted ''not to scale''. So other that reproducing the drawing for informational reference, you will not be able to measure off of it. I used the 21100mm to scale it up and the other dimensions do not correspond. Your new drawing scale should be &lt;STRONG&gt;NTS (not to scale).&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="angles.png" style="width: 600px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/1201059i993EF5E24EB83682/image-size/medium?v=v2&amp;amp;px=400" role="button" title="angles.png" alt="angles.png" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt; &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt; &lt;/P&gt;</description>
