@mdsds no one here is going to recommend one machine for a brand new software no one has much world experience using.
So... how much $$$$$$$ can you afford to spend, what type of work do you do in AutoCAD, and what brands do you like or have experience with? At least you'll get options to look at that way, the better approach for your quest.

The last time I spec'd out a machine, I bought an awesome machine only to have a global pandemic hit, and then it got used only for remote learning and running zoom, so my track record on such things is terrible (joking)

As long as it meets the requirements, I think you should be ok. Something to consider when talking to computer people not explicitly familiar with AutoCAD is the way it handles the processing.

MSI GF63 thin 9SCSR is excellent. I have it, and I can run AutoCAD 2024, Inventor, and the Internet simultaneously with no problem. I never had a problem with any software I used. This laptop has an Intel Core i7, and the graphic card is NVIDIA Geforce GTX.

Really?

Neither you nor @mathrewmarrero9 made any statements about type of work (2D or 3D) or amount of data (small drawings or big ones) and you can now know that this one laptop is the right one for your needs? I doubt.

You should mention what you try to do with AutoCAD, maybe which other software you are running on the system and then wait for replies.

So you want me to write a book about how the laptop I suggested works well with AutoCAD in 2D and 3D ?? UNNECESSARY. Not even a computer salesmen will go that far. It’s all about the consumer experience. Each person has to figure it out which one works best on their own. Btw I provided specificstions. @mdsds - another GREAT latpop for AutoCAD is Dell xps . I also have this laptop and it works VERY WELL.

Never wrote that, have you seen anything like that in my message?

Fine, but no one else have seen that you tested in with 2D and 3D (until now).

However, if you are working with large projects or small ones, no one knows.

My opinion is that I first need to know what type of work needs to be done! You can spent thousands of dollars or hundreds of dollars to find a laptop that works well. But as long as you don't know what the TO needs, it could be too expensive (in case of just small drawings in 2D like schematics) or to slow (in case full of 3D-Solids and surfaces for big 3D projects).
