Large format plot crops most of the drawing, printable area doesn't match diagram in plotting wizard

Hi,

I tried to make a custom paper size 1782x1682mm, 10mm margins, and seemed to work ok, however, the PDF when plotted only shows a very small cropped version of the centre of the drawing. I have noticed this also happens when using any built in large format paper size such as 2A0 or 4A0, so it seems that PDFs bigger than standard A0 start heavily cropping the drawing to the point they're unusable.

Any help would be much appreciated !

I don't see your custom setting in that screenshot, why not show that?

Also... share your work: a DWG file ready to go with this problem in it is a good place to start.

The Plot Area is set to Window. (We have no way of knowing what window you selected. Can you show us?)

The Plot Scale is set to 1:1. (Something tells me that's probably not what you want.)

Based on the preview, it appears that you selected a drawing area window in model space that is about 1/3 the size of the paper dimensions and is oriented in the opposite direction to the paper.

I usually just use presets from the office i work at and have never messed about with the settings. Changing window to layout worked perfectly.
