Dimension Help

I've been looking ways to quickly dimension the blocks in my drawing. Similar to the QDIM command except I need it for the blocks in the drawing Any clues on how to do something similar with the pile blocks in this drawing. Thank you in advance.

why not edit the block and then add qdim there?

or are you referring to dimensioning from one pile to another?

provide examples so we know what dimensions you would like to see

I'll give you a good idea how to use QDIM command.

Draw two short lines on their own layer while you're in Block definition for the pile block [Bedit command].
By QSELECT command 👇 take a copy from all pile block.[Click on below image to enlarge]

Now, take a copy from all of those blocks only aside then Explode them.
as shown in below image 👇 Erase all blocks after exploding and just keep all of two short lines.
Now, You can use QDIM command to all of your blocks from center to center (as I understand).
After that you can delete the two short lines from your block by BEDIT command again.

This quick and safe tricky way allows you to get what you want without any problems.

Not exactly what I was looking for. I fear that the idea I have just isn't possible with autocad. Thank you for solution though.
