Hello, for a project I was wondering if there is a tool or an easy way to fit a line of a particular length (36 units) between two intersecting lines, while keeping the line at 36 units in length, I have the intersecting lines pictured below in case that is needed to help me, which has a dotted line drawn which shows the direction I want the line to go in. Thank you for the help!

COPY one of the Lines by the distance in the direction you want the new Line to run. Where the copy intersects the other Line is the end of the new Line -- draw from there in the direction and at the distance you want.

EDIT:

I did wonder, in Message 1, whether the 36-unit-long Line in question is already drawn [as @cadffm has assumed, and I have not] -- it isn't quite clear. Whether it is or not, the basic approach is the same.

Hi,

move your 36-line (red)

with one end to one of the other lines (yellow),

copy this line to the other end of your 36-line (green)

and you get the intersection to move your 36 line to (magenta).
