Hi All,

Please give me the solution for copyclip Appearing appearing always while working fast.

It's annoying.

Does this happen in all drawings even when you create a new one from scratch ?

Try close and open the file again, if it is the file try copying the data to a new drawing.

Hi,

Did you try restarting the Autocad application.

If its happening for all of your files then I suggest you to reset the Autocad to default.

Yes, still happen even new drawing and restart pc and reset Autocad as the factory setting.

"I had the same problem and it was due to an installation of «client for google translate». Just disable that client with right mouse clic on the icon in the task bar !"

I know this is an old thread but we are having this same issue with one of our users and the above solution did not work. Very frustrating. I have uninstalled and reinstalled ACADm 2024 and it is still doing it. Does anyone have a solution to this?

Same here. I’m on AutoCAD 2018 & it just started doing this midday today. Came back from lunch & every few seconds copyclip starts itself, even if I’m in the middle of another command. Can’t finish a command that requires multiple mouse clicks.

It seems moving the mouse extra slowly mostly corrects the problem. That’s not a solution, however. Someone? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?

It's not a mouse or keyboard related either because I swapped those out for new ones. I signed in to this users PC and had Windows create a new profile for me and the issue is not there. Only for the original user. And it happens on AutoCAD Mech 2023 and 2024 which were both installed.

I don’t have google translate, so that’s not it. I’ve restarted everything. It was fine until it left it for an hour to run errands. Saved my drawing, left everything on, same as always. Came back & thought I was going crazy. All of a sudden copyclip just starts itself. Hit zoom, click one corner, BAM copyclip. Hit spline, click a few points, BAM copyclip. Can’t complete a command without moving at a snails pace.

This user says it started last week around Wednesday all of a sudden. Could possibly be related to an update of something... ??

Same problem after updating to Windows 11.

We tried installing AutoCAD new -> it did not help (also no Google Chrrome). What helped is the update of Window 11 (Newest update 17.09.2025)

I’m seeing the same issue across multiple users, and it’s happening with AutoCAD 2020 as well. This clearly looks like a Windows update problem. I hope Autodesk is already working with Microsoft, because the problem affects multiple versions of AutoCAD and it all started yesterday.

As of today, I’ve received 10 reports and the number is still growing. I’m an MSP who primarily supports architects, engineering firms, and interior design firms. This is a serious issue, and it needs Autodesk and Microsoft to be directly involved—not just us discussing it here.

I left the office yesterday to finish the day on my home computer which is running 2026 LT. It's been fine. My computer at work hasn't updated in at least a week. I have it set to NOT update without permission, so it definitely didn't update while I was at lunch yesterday.

I’m running Dell’s SupportAssist—detecting and installing the BIOS update along with all other Dell updates before running Windows Update. Everything is in progress now. Fingers crossed… I’ll let you know how it goes.
