Plotting to PDF with tolerance.

I'm kind of confused and I can't figure out why this is doing what it is doing. Its on the same layer and its the same color and everything is set up to be in Dim style under "Bylayer". It still keeps coming out like this.

@john.p.addy So what is it supposed to look like exactly? You show us only one of two views.

Or is it just the "bolded" appearance of those symbols because they are a different TTF font or have an LWEIGHT setting of "bold" setting not present in the adjacent text?

yes the boldness of the M in the circle and the o with the + in it should be the same as the other text

yes it might be because of the style of font but i don't know how to change that because you can't explode it.

@john.p.addy You can edit blocks with BEDIT command, REFEDIT command, and if those are attributes you can also use EATTEDIT command.

And STYLE command if and only if those custom text objects are defined there too.

You are welcome to share your actual DWG file here too for others to examine.

Ok let me try to use those. I'm fairly new to Tolerances an don't know much about them and how they are created

It'll work if you modify the Monochrome.ctb's Red color and designate lineweight there to be 0.09mm (attached ctb)

If you don't want to edit the Lineweight for the Red color. Change the text color to anything you want and assign the Lineweight to that color.

I get what you are saying but did you test that when printing AutoCAD PDF ( high quality ) when you to a plot review that it isn't bold like it is on my end.

I didn't do a plot. Your post 10 in reply to @paullimapa made it seem like you didn't want to change the Lineweight in your CTB. I was providing an alternative.

This is why I included in my previous reply message the attached zip file with the Monochrome - Modified. ctb all done for you

To install this ctb in AutoCAD, enter command:

STYLESMANAGER

Then Open the contents of the Zip file and drag+drop the ctb into the Windows Explorer window that just opened.

Enter the PLOT command again and now you should be able to select that ctb like I did.
