tool palette image background not consistent - AutoCAD 2024

using autocad 2024 the tool palette image background is black in a newly created image rather than matching the tool palette.

both images appear the same in the preview pane of windows explorer.

@WinslowNorth Can you able share the drawing file here so that I can check on my machine and let you know. Also Have tried this behaviour on any other versions of AutoCAD. Check in AutoCAD 2026 and let me know how it works.

Try re-saving the image with a transparent or white background using an image generator or simple editor before adding it to the AutoCAD palette. AutoCAD sometimes shows a black background if the source image does not match the palette settings. Exporting the image again usually fixes the inconsistency.
