Recently, we got a file from a client modeled in Plant 3D which we are trying to open. We have downloaded and installed Object Enabler for Plant 3D 2024 on our AutoCAD 2024 machine. Once installed and rebooted, we still can't see the Plant3D objects in vanilla AutoCAD 2024.

Any suggestions?

They are using Plant3D 2024 and files are saved as 2018.

Hi,

Things to remind:

Make sure that you install the right version enabler for AutoCAD 2024.

Check PROXYSHOW system variable = 1 .

Hi @chriskD6WP2

It's possible it's due to a setting on your client's side.

Your client saved the file with proxygraphics=0.

Ask client make proxygraphics=1.

Then save as version 2.

Clients needs to share version 2 with you.

If 0, object will not show as a graphics proxy. If 1,it will show.

Are you certain that they are sending the right stuff?

I would try asking if they could try using ETRANSMIT and see what comes with it.

You can also ask them to run the EXPORTTOAUTOCAD command and strip it of all the toolset data.

Everything is correct on both ends. A little while ago I forced the Plant 3D Object Enabler to install, again. Once I did that, everything work.
