Thanks heaps.

The 3dcorbit command does the job I was looking for. And thanks for the tip with 3dorbit – changing to mode 2 works.

Really appreciate your assistance with this.

I have noticed when rotating a model in model space, that there seems to be something stopping the full rotation of the model. In order to get a view I wanted, I had to physically rotate the model 90 degrees and then I was able to get the view I required. This seems to be in the software and was wondering if there are any other commands to get full 360 degree rotation of the model in all axis's. I have tried the 3D mouse but this has limitations depending on the visual style.

Hi,

>" when rotating a model"

HOW?

>" This seems to be in the software"

No limit known (for me), perhaps there is a limit for a specific way/command you are using - which way are you changing the view?

ahh, the 3DOrbittransp(arent) command

I can

Use the continuous orbit and stop when it fits your needs: 3DCORBIT command [F1]

or use the usual command 3DORBIT, right click / contextmenu -> and use mode 2

Sorry, I don't hmow how to change the 3DORBITTRANSP behavior, but I guess you can't change it.

Also try 3dForbit. I like the control it gives you. Move your cursor outside the circle to rotate the view about an axis perpendcular to the screen or inside for horizonatl/vertical/skewed axes.
