Problem Selecting

Hey, I came across a minor issue that I can't solve. I try to select my drawing but instead, it selects the reference (drawing with grey lines), and when I try to zoom in or out, the drawing that I am trying to select stays the same.

Is some of what you show in paper space and some in model space?

Unfortunately, I do not know that. I'm fairly new to AutoCad, it would be great if you would explain it to me, where to click and so on, to check it.

Hi,

1. Why are you in Layout?

2. Why is your "drawing" in Layout instead in model space?

Run command PSPACE or press [Model] in your statusbar,

you can select the objects now?
