I have received a Reflected ceiling Plan (RCP) file from the Architect and one of the layer is completely blocking my work. I have attached the cad file and two pdfs one without the RCP and one with RCP. I believe the RCP file is created in REVIT and is downloaded indwh format for my use.

The Layer is A-DETL-GENF that blocks my work. I have requested architect to address this situation. But it is week-end and I thought may be be I could get the necessary help from this site. I like to complete my work during this week-end.

Any help will be highly appreciated.

What do you mean blocking your work?

You can turn off layer A-DETL-GENF if the hatch patterns are in your way.

If you need to place return or supply registers on the RCP, you can also make it so that you can object snap to the hatch pattern:

Options>Drafting>Object Snap Options - uncheck Ignore hatch objects

You also can use the Draworder command, select the RCP xref and send it to the Back:

Now when you PLOT the objects you drew on top will show up:

What is happening when you open this file that made you indicate that this layer is the cause of it?

This layer is blocking my work as shown on the attached pdfs. But, Paul Li's suggestion worked. Many thanks for your care to resolve my problem.
