Geolocation Change Map Style

Hi All,

When using Geolocations is there a way to select different Styles? Like you can in Bing Maps by changing to road, Satellite, Bird's Eye, and StreetSide?

The default map road for Online Map does not show building outlines like in the Bing Roads style.

Also, any timeline on when the transition to ERSI maps will happen?

Sorry, no. You are at the mercy of ESRI maps. Just like Bing, ESRI is providing free online maps. What you see is what you get.

The only other alternative is to subscribe to an add-on so you can access their maps, assuming of course, they have the specific style you desire. Just like any other map service Autodesk does business with, you are at the third party's mercy, meaning what they supply to Autodesk is what you get.

FYI, even though users may prefer one map service over another, other providers may not want to freely share their service with Autodesk. Whether Autodesk is paying a third party service so you don't have to is unknown, so any request from you demanding free online map service may go unheard.
