Data link copied with block from file to file

hi there,

I usually create schedules for doors, skirting, cornices...linked with Excel files, which is excellent.

In the AutoCAD file, all elements are blocks that I then copy to other files (plans and elevations) when they are needed.

My problem is that when copying the block to other files, the Excel link comes with it even though I am not selecting the Excel table, which is annoying.

Is there any way to copy the block without the link?

I can delete one by one, but it takes time.

Any ideas?

Hi Pendean,

I thought dictremove was a lisp to remove an entry from a dictionary.

Maybe I am wrong, in any case I don't have this Lisp.

Is that going to work to remove unwanted Data link?
