Re-scale (size) of 3D View on a Sheet possible?

I notice that a 3D view on a Sheet, when the view is "activated" and with the crops regions on, can be reshaped, but I do not see a way to make what is shown on the view a tad "larger" (i.e., bigger, like zooming in). (I have tried, but I might be missing something?)

I wonder if there is way to scale a 3D on the sheet, to make the "scale" of only one of the 3D's larger on this sheet (without affecting the scale of the other views on the Sheet).

Is this possible?

As long as it is a camera view, select the view on the sheet, and in the modify tab, select "Size crop," check the radio button "Scale" then change the width or height to suit.

Is that to say that if it is NOT a camera view but an orthagonal plane "3d" view, that there is no way to change the scale?

In any regular NON-camera 3D view, the scale can be changed in the view's properties just like any other normal view type.

Just had the same problem with "default 3D view":

When Crop View is turned off 3D VIEW has some default size (with "zoom extends" option) and cannot be adjusted properly.

Just do the following: Go to your 3D view, click on "Show Crop Region", then adjust your region to the right size (sometime you have to zoom out more to see the region), then press "Crop View". This results in the correct size of the viewport (it will become the same size as your Crop Region)

This does not work for me maybe I'm missing something.

I created a 3d view on the plan view with the camera as instructed and yes it worked but when I drag the view onto a sheet-like any other view the 3d perspective is very small I tried to follow the steps in crop view all it does is makes the selection box around it larger not the actual image. How do I get the image larger?

You need to check the "Scale (locked proportions)" checkbox.

I get to this point to make my 3D image a larger scale and I cannot click on "OK" or "Apply" to change the Size Crop Region from "field of view" to "Scale" The view is currently on a template, I tried taking it off that template and I have the same issue. Any suggestions?

Change the value in Width or Height then you can OK or Apply.

for camera views click and activate the viewport. while the viewport is selected you should see an option for size crop at the top. Click on this and then under the change field select scale and then change the width or height to what you want to increase it to. don't know why everything in revit is a pain
