It happens when I try to open AutoCAD. Just started happening.

I downloaded the DWG reader jsut to try that, but I'm getting the same error on that.

Makes me think it is a Windows issue. I checked my Windows update history, but there is nothing recent.

Hi,

did AutoCAD ever run and the problem appeard later? Then I would look for the updates, which updates (Windows, antivirus-software, firewall) where installed after AutoCAD worked successfully last time.

What you can also try: login with another Windows user account and see if the issue is the same.

- alfred -

Yes, AutoCAD has always worked before. I did try a different user, same results.

Hi,

>> AutoCAD has always worked before. I did try a different user, same results

So try to catch what modification was done on your system, you also might disable network, antivirus, start AutoCAD with the option (right click in the AutoCAD-icon) "run as Administrator".

You also may try to restore one of the previous system-states (sorry, I don't know the exact word for that in english)

A mini-chance might be to start a repair-installation. But as a new installation of TrueView show the same problem I'm really unsure if that will help.

- alfred -

Yup, figured it out. It was a video driver update. I was able to revert to the old and I disabled the NVIDIA auto update.

Thanks for all of your help
