The easiest way to make a raster a vector is to use a program called vector magic and save it as a .dxf or coreldraw has a decent trace program and will save in .dxf or .dwg

Welcome to the Autodesk Forums!

Hello,

You can attach raster image to DWG with ATTACH or IMAGEATTACH command (Ribbon->Insert->Reference pane->Attach)

Then trace it.

Hi,

Welcome to the forums. This is not really the right venue though to substitute for a class in AutoCAD. That said, if you want to trace over the image, just start drawing. Use the line command or pline command. Left click on each star point and reentrant corner. Hit enter or ESC when you finish sketching or use the "close" option to complete the star.
