I have a similar problem also using Autocad 2014 with a Designjet Plotter (T1300 +/- .1% accuracy) in a controlled environment.

I can calibrate the plotter, but as soon as I plot on a different size my grid lines are off by almost double that amount. This isn't limited to one file, and never had this problem with 2008 or 2012 versions.

AutoCAD Mechanical 2014

The attached drawing is a cutout template. I need to plot it 1:1. I created a custom paper size of 36" x 61" in order to plot it. The output from the plotter is not correct. The height should measure 57.625" as shown on the drawing. It measures 57.4375" with a tape measure.

Below are my plotter settings. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check the margin settings. You may also need to look into a "full bleed" setting in the printer settings.

well, that's 0.3% - three parts per thousand, or 0.1875 inches over 5 ft.

is that consistent with the published accuracy & repeatability of the plotter you're using?

Margin settings: click on the properties button to the right of the plotter name.
