best I found is using a command called SEGS ore STSEG that I use to segment any arcs to segmented polyline and then I use wipeout to convert my polyline.

Ore you can use a solid hatch

Hi all,

I would like to know how to put a background mask on Blocks like of that in Mtext. I've tried making a hatch background and color it with white but the autocad seems converting the color into black which it should not i think. Please help any help will be appreciated. BTW i'm using AutoCad 2014

Thanks and regards,

"Mac"

In block editor create a wipeout for the area which you needs to mask.

Then use draworder to bring the objects to front so that wipeout will be on back.

Hi,

>> I've tried making a hatch background and color it with white

That is my preferred way too, but the color should be truecolor (255,255,255) then AutoCAD does not convert it.

If you use that block many times (thousands+) in your drawing and the block is not dynamic then I would set the hatch to "not assocaitive", that makes regenerating the drawing faster.
