open dxf file problem

Hi,

I have a problem with opening dxf files in autocad 2012. The file is generated from an online tool the company I work for made.

For axample I attatch a file. I want to open this file to assamble multiple parts.

Are you trying to "open" the DXF file from the Open dialog box?

Try the DXFIN command on the command line.

AutoCAD doesn't like this dxf file format, it must not be 100% perfect: other cad software that are less picky do (I used the free DraftSight to open your dxf file).

Hi,

The files are generated to open on a CNC. Is there any posibility to save the drawing (in free DraftSight) as a dwg file?

yes, DraftSight does that.
