How can I integrate Java code with Autodesk products, such as AutoCAD or Revit?

Hello everyone,
I am doing Java Course in Pune . I am looking for suggestions on how to integrate Java code with Autodesk products, such as AutoCAD or Revit. I want to write an application that can show building structures and I need to integrate it with AutoCAD or Revit. I have found some resources online, but I am not sure which one is the best approach.
I have found some forum posts on Autodesk Community that suggest using .NET to program with Revit API.
I have also found a post that asks for help integrating AutoCAD with a Java application.
Additionally, I found a post on CAD Forum that says it is possible to develop AutoCAD add-on applications in Java.
I would appreciate any suggestions or advice on how to proceed with this project. Thank you in advance for your help.

Thre are some forums in teh AutoCAD group that may be able to better answer your question.

That said if you are wanting to do something web based I would look into the Autodesk Platform Services (Formerly Forge) tools
