I believe the profile you're revolving is probably not large enough to cut the whole way through the inside edge of the elbow due to the curvature. To use that technique, make the profile larger.

Two alternative solutions,

1) Revolve a line instead of a "profile". The result will be a conical surface that you can use to SLICE the bevel. --> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gtUpuzIXsBc

2) Place a small straight section at either end so the bend does not begin until after beveled area. --> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ludcHf2QTRM

Hi everyone!

I am facing a problem as discussed here:

I am trying to draw pipe bend and want to prepare edge preparation.

After creating bend by sweep command, when i goes to subtract a profile for edge preparation,

It creats an additional (not required) surface.

when i try to subtract a profile from a cylinder it works! but the issue is there with pipe bend (sweeped object)

please refer below attached snapshot.
