Randomly wrong snap points ...

Hi, had this issue a while (from ACad 2020 i think, working now with 2023) ... sometimes the cursor snaps a random/non existing point (and tells there is a snap point).

No mather which command (it does by drawing line, circle or simple making dimensions ...) im in. My co-workers have the same issue (ACad 2022 and 2015).

Tried a lot osnap, snap settings, aperture size, autosnap ... im clueless.

The first pick in the video got a PERpendicular Osnap relative to the previous picked point somewhere, because that was the closest applicable Osnap mode to the cursor location at the time. That's apparent in the green symbol that shows as you pick -- you need to watch the symbols to see which mode you're getting, if you have multiple modes running. Consider also having fewer modes running, if there are some you really want frequently and others you rarely need. If you have a hard time positioning the cursor so that you get the mode you want, you can cycle through potential Osnap locations for the same cursor location with TAB.

Didn't work any from them. Its annoying ... sometimes works everything great, sometimes it makes those random snaps.

@pinter.jozsefGG6GQ You appear to have too many not-relevant OSNAPs running at the same time (like Parallel showing up in your video when you try to click on that END/INT location but overshoot the corner and hover too long on one of the lines instead). Try to be more deliberate about what it is you have actively running instead of the ALL option like you have now.

And if I may ask, of you are trying to dimension two-parallel lines why are you not using DIMCONTINUE from that "50" dimension already there?

If you need an all new one because you like to do things the long way... it would be best IMHO if you click/select these points instead using the DIMROTATED command

It's just a "schowcase". It has nothing to do with the dimensions imo.

Without any dimension in my drawing this comes. When i wan't to draw a line or circle and want my start point on the end of a linie or in the middle of a circle or any other snap point then randomly places my start point near to these points (sometimes 1-2 mm, sometimes 0,1-0,4 ...).

Remember, we are all end users just like you and do this all day long, some of us for decades, others not so much: we've done all of that ourselves too but stopped.

It looks like your OSnap Tracking is on also. If you are not familiar with this tool, it may make it appear like you are getting "random" snap locations. Try turning it off.
