topic Re: Plotting Model Space in AutoCAD 2016 in AutoCAD Forum

Thanks for reporting these plot 'shifting' issue. Kindly send us more info on the Plotter and the driver version you are using. We will try to reproduce it.

Please note that:

AutoCAD is now recognizing a much larger set of papers as ‘OS’ standard paper sizes. Up thru 2015 AutoCAD recognized only 42 paper sizes as OS standard paper sizes. The OS currently supports ~118 standard paper sizes. Standard sizes are treated differently from custom sizes when dealing with printable area, offsets, etc. It would be really (really) helpful to get details on the printer model and driver version that these differences are showing up on.

Furthermore – Win8x has a new driver model (called v4), and for those drivers AutoCAD no longer adds extra printable area padding as it has done for all previous driver model versions.

Thanks,

Pavan Jella
