https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/autocad-forum/simplex-ttf-font-not-showing-in-autocad2015/m-p/5695036#M323707 AutoCAD 2016 is the fix then: it creates searchable text, whther you want it or not.<BR /><BR />There is no way to do what you want in R2015 or lower, unless you move away from the Autodesk provided stick-font TTF compilations of SHX fonts (use ARIAL instead of SIMPLEX).<BR />AFAIK Autodesk will never add the feature to 2015 or lower.
