Just started learning autocad 2016 (no prior experiance with cad) employing an online tutorial. I'm trying to use the MLine command to draw parallel lines, but I keep getting single lines. I've changed the Scale and Justification multiple times to no avail. Is there a setting somewhere that can change the single line to doule line.

Any help will be appreciated.

typed in MLSTYLE in the command line, a message window appeared showing the Styles name (STANDARD) and the preview of the STANDARD which was a set of 2 parallel lines. Apparently the style is defined as two parallel lines, but when I invoke the ML (multi line) it draws single lines.

I have been playing with different scale numbers, but nothing works. I can see all the lines that I'm drawing and they all are single lines (no double parallel lines) same as executing the line command. I was wondering if there are some settings that I have to toggle to activate the ML command?

I got the double parallel lines. The default scale was 35 and I had reduced it to 2, but apparently the scale wasn't being reduced and it was stuck at 35. even after zooming out I could see single lines only. Then I reduced the scale once more to .25 and I got the double parallel lines! I started increasing the scale all the way to 35 and zooming out and could see the double parallel lines.

Thanks a lot for your help.
