topic Re: Sending Multiple Drawings with a single Xref folder location? in AutoCAD Forum

Thanks Alfred.

Actually "binding" may be a confusion term in AutoCAD.

"Bind" may mean that binding xref files with the master dwg to a single file. It may also mean that packs all xrefs with the master dwg to a folder and keeps all xrefs as individual files.

If the OP asked for the earlier one, I can't see it happens. If it is the latter, your tip is certainly the answer.

BTW I tried the "_ETRANSMIT" but the box of "Bind external references" is greyed out and I can't turn it on. Any idea? Thanks.
