Cursor gets really small

Hi!

I've had this problem for a while. Whenever I use a funtion like DIVIDE or TRIM my cursor gets really small and its hard to sleect the line I need. What I have been doing is selecting the line beforehand and then using the funtion but that order doesnt work for everything!

Please help!

try option -> selection -> pickbox size .
