Anyone knows how to prevent Excel converting "front slash" into a date format? I need it in a text format, no changes.

two answers

1. It's on you

How do you accee the data in Excel, by OPEN command?

Run open, select the txt file, in Text Import Assistent, page 3of3

select the column, change formatting to Text

2. Or , change the value befor import

open yout txt file in Editor, search&replace / to '/

May I ask for a sample value? Because I can't reproduce it with a front slash.

Sample value "/nnn" - which one?

yes, i had to select a specific column, that was the key!
