Hi, another problem here.) i have problem with text over dimensions. I need them to have almost constant size in every scale just to be readable... it's possible to do it with dimensions used for binding and fixing sizes of model, but these are hidden and won't be on print.

Thx for help

How it will be constant size in every scale i think you mean some thing else.

by Annotation use you can control your dimension text in every scale.

- You wrote ( .... but these are hidden and won't be on print ) would you give us more info please.

Good Luck..

Hi, I mean that if i roll mouse wheel the size (not number) of the text of dimension will scale but i want i to be alltime same size... in layout with 1:1 to be same readable size like with 1:5 scale.

About second sentence... there is option which will make what i want, but only with hidden locked dimensions for binding model.

Sorry it's hard to translate... english word can be translated by many czech words of different meaning so sorry for maybe bad meaning for you.

THX

OK, that doesn't happen, and won't. TEXT is placed at a fixed size in real-world heights (or, if being placed in PaoerSpace, at real paper size, eg 3.0mm or whatever you set) It cannot arbitrarily change height to coincide with some random scale factor.

Now, you can explore Annotative text, which will reset it's height based on defined scale factors. That depends on setting the Annotative scale factors on the text object, and using the annotative scale controls or setting CANNOSCALE manually. It will NOT be impacted by random mouse wheel zooming

I'm not sure if i understand... so again... for example I am in paper space and have 2 cut out windows... first containt 1:1 model and text above dimensions is 3mm height... but if i wanna make a detail... scaling of second cut out (5:1) will make the text 15mm... i just want that text above dimension to be same size in both cut outs. Nothing more.)

OK, a couple of ways to do it.

1) do your dimensioning in paperspace, using OSNAPs to id the modelspace locations. (The ENDPoint Osnap generally works best)

2) Set DIMSCALE to 0, and dimension in model space through the viewport.. Works well and is reliable -- but may have display issues when the same area shows up in multiple viewports. You can use layering & Viewport Layer freeze tp get around that.

3) Explore ANNOTATIVE dimensioning. And use the annotative controls to set the zoom levelo/scale factor of the viewport rather than merely zooming in or out.
