Set linetype scale of an object independent of annotation scale

Is it possible to set the linetype scale of an object to a fixed value that does not change with Annotation or VP scales?

This query is specifically for linetypes displaying road markings. The xrefs will be used in multiple drawings at different scales. 1:500 on plans and maybe 1:50 or 1:100 for larger details of junctions etc. Is there any way to set an objects linetype to be independent of the annotation or viewport scale. We usually have to set psltscale to 0 to accomodate this but drawings can look ugly when zoomed in. We would prefer that all of the other linetypes scale to the viewport, just not the road markings. Is this possible?

PROERTIES command has that as a choice, 4th choice in the GENERAL section at the very top.

@pendean, thanks for the reply.

Although that option does indeed set the linetype scale of an object individually, changing the annotation scale still affects the scale of the linetype by a factor depending on the annotation scale.

Road markings are features with a set dimension and therefore don't look correct when annotation scales other than 1:1 are applied. I guess I'm essentially asking whether individual objects can be removed from the affects of the annotation scale. I'm guessing not as I've tried every setting I can find, but just wanted to check that I'm not missing something obvious that may have been introduced in the most recent versions. Currently the only solution we have is to set psltscale to 0, but that affects all objects, not just the road markings. It's done the job so far it's just that other objects that aren't road markings don't look pretty at larger scales. It's all about the presentation!

No, no huge massive behavioral changes to the program there, sorry.

HELP has a "what's new" section, you should take the time to read through it all when you install newer versions of AutoCAD to find out, just make it part of your process moving forward.
