Install of AutoCAD 2014 from an admin install point

I'm having trouble installing AutoCAD from our typical install point. I've tested and confirm that it works on other systems. On this one computer I keep failing to install. This is the log:

From looking at other posts this seems to happen when the installer try to install a pre-requisit and then the whole install fails. I've tried by removing all MS Visual C++ packages installed and the app still fails.

If I use the GUI mode I have another error where the installer fails trying to find a directory named something like Autocad\R19.1 and then will not go any farther.

I've attempted to add the registry key under "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell Folders" for Common Documents as no keys are in this location as it looks like Windows 7 Pro uses a different location. This did not fix the installer.

I'm at a lose to what I can attempt next.

When it hit a snag like that, go to Windows Temp folder , empty it, reboot and try again.

No joy.

Cleared out c:\windows\temp and rebooted same error. Here is a screenshot:

Turns out this registry entry:

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell Folders\Common Documents = C:\Users\Public\Documents

C:\Users\Public\Documents <- This folder did not exist. Creating the folder made the installer work.

The error provided should be more descriptive.
