&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;EM&gt;&lt;FONT color="#000080"&gt;&amp;gt;&amp;gt; when I then clicked on copy it deselected what I had selected&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Sounds like&lt;STRONG&gt;&lt;FONT color="#000080"&gt; PICKFIRST&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/STRONG&gt; is not set to 1&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;But then this problem would also appear with the move command (not just the copy command), so again:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Select two objects, and instead of clicking anywhere to start the copy command type (with the keyboard):&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;&lt;FONT color="#000080"&gt;_.COPY&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;What happens now?&lt;/P&gt;
