https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/autocad-forum/crash-on-text-in-2016/m-p/5791162#M314782 <P>Hi there,<BR />I've just encountered this problem on fresh install on a windows 8.1, 64 bit machine.<BR />No matter what drawing I'm in, be it empty or huge, using any of the text tools ( Single line or Multiline) will cause a crashing, giving "An Unkown exception has occoured". I can specify where i want the text to go, ( ie, select first corner, select second corner ) however right when you would normally be able to type the text in, the program crashes, saving a recovery file along the way.<BR /><BR />Does anyone know of any fixes to this issue or what could be causing it?
