I think I've reset my AutoCAD to its default settings. It's still giving me the same issue. The only thing I'm able to click on with any true response is to switch between the "Create" and "Learn" pages that come up when first opening the AutoCAD.

I have AutoCAD 2015, and it had been working fine since I installed it. But recently, (the past couple of days) it has begun to freeze, making it difficult to get work done. I've experienced both of the following situations:

1.) It will get through the startup process and bring up the "create" screen with what seems like a functional cursor, but won't open any of the files that I click. I can't seem to select anything.

2.) I open a file directly from the location where it had been saved. It seems to open up fine, but just a couple of secondsafter opening the cursor freezes and I can't get it to move around at all.

My question is why is this happening and what can I do to correct it?

Operating System is Windows 8. As far as what has happened, nothing out of the ordinary from what I can recall.

Did windows sneak in and updated ? Go to Control Panel, Programs, P & F, installed Update and see the last time it updated.

System Restore and turn back a few weeks before this happened.

I don't think so. I uninstalled the latest update (from Aug. 19th) and it doesn't seem to have fixed anything.
