Snap objects not showing up on screen

I have a client that received a new computer (windows 11) with all specs meeting the system requirements for Autrocad 2023. The problem is the snap object does not appear on the screen after applying it.

Troubleshooting steps that were taken:

Autocad and patches have been updated to 2023

there was an issue with the video card but that has been rectified. Video card is a certified card.

Not sure what that means: can they provide more details, enough to follow along, PLUS screenshots or a video?

OR...

1) Do they need to just Set GFXDX12 variable to 0 (that's a zero) then restart AutoCAD2023?

2) Also consider turning off LINESMOOTHING and LINEFADING variables.

3) If still no relief then start GRAPHICSCONFIG command and change the 2D Display Settings pulldown from "advanced mode" to one of the other choices.

4) If all else fails, then turn off Hardware Acceleration as a last resort, and start a support ticket through their subscription portal as explained here

Please explain Snap Object. What is it?

Also, if the object(s) is on a locked layer, then the blue grips won't appear. Unlock the layer.

If by "snap objects" you mean the little green icons of different shapes for the different Osnap modes, and if by "applying it" you mean calling for a particular mode, such as by typing one in [e.g. END] or bringing up the list with Shift+right-click or Ctrl+right-click and picking one, then:

Make sure you have the Marker item checked in the Drafting tab of the OPTIONS dialog box:

and I also prefer to have the aperture box showing, but that's optional.
