Populating attributes or fields from an Excel Spread sheet

We have an Excel Spread sheet that lists our Sales Force with their location, Branch Manager and Reg. Manager. I want to know is there a way in my drawing to input the Sales Rep. and the other information gets populate by looking at the excel spread sheet. We have a trasmittal sheet in our drawing that this information is on, either attributes or fields.

Hi @tgoodson,

I ran across this older post and was curious if you ever got an answer to your question.

AutoCAD does not have a feature to link fields or attributes to Excel. However, you can connect objects to a database such as an Access database. Here is an AKN Article that walks through the process. If this looks like something you want to pursue, the Excel data can easily be imported into Access as a table.

No has not been answered. It may be the correect answer and clear to you but not clear to me.

The information we have in Excel can easly be put into Access.

So I would like to be able to put in my drawing the Sales Rep name and all the other information for that sales rep be populated from the database.

I also would like to take this information and other from the title block and create a new Database file with that Infromation.
