topic Looking for a feature of the 3D Rotate tool that doesn't seem to exist in AutoCAD Forum

Hi,

I was thinking about getting back into AutoCAD after many years, and everything was going as remembered, but I found something to be amiss. I distinctly recall there being a function with the 3D Rotator tool (or it may have simply been the Rotator tool) in which you were able to select the object you would like to rotate, then you could select a line at a random angle. This allowed the object to rotate around the angle of the line, instead of pertaining to the default X, Y, and Z origin axes. I've been searching and testing for hours by this point, yet to no avail. If someone would be so kind as to help me out here?

For a visual representation:

As seen above, the gizmo is not in unison with the line it is specified upon. I either want the shape to be rotated around the line's slope, or to have the gizmo aligned with the angle, without having to orient the line's angle to the world's origin.

Thanks
