Hi all,

My cursor is super slow in AutoCAD. It's not really lagging, it just moves super slow.

I'm running AutoCAD 2016 for Windows through VMware on my Mac. The Mac is brand new and has 16 gigs of ram and 16Ghz i7 processor with an Intel Iris 1536 MB graphics card.

The cursor works fine in VMWare and everywhere else except when it turns to crosshairs inside the drawing field. IO've tried turning off hardware acceleration, but that didn't work.

Any help you guys could give me would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Welcome to the Forums

Unfortunately you have posted in the wrong section of the forums. This is the Autocad for Windows section you need AutoCAD for Mac

But before you go. Have you tried turning off Hardware Acceleration?

VMware has several KB support posts on the topic at their website: ensure those system level issues are addressed while you wait for someone with your unique setup to jump in.
