HELP WITH TEXT CONTENT

Hello,

I want to select texts and draw lines which is length same as the text content, so that every text have line with length as its content.

So how I get text content to use it in my autolisp script ? note that the text content is always numbers

DXF code 1 is the TEXT entity string content.

Thank you very much. Is there website that have all dxf codes for all type of objects (text, Line, polyline ... )

Check this out. It's an older one, so it may not have all current drawing entities, but I found it by doing a web search for DXF Reference -- do that, and look around.

Press F1 in AutoCAD, then enter LINE DXF (or whatever entity type) in the help search box, you will get most answers there.
