Welcome to the Community.

AutoCAD 2015 for Mac requires installation of AutoCAD 2015 for Mac Update 3. You can click on this link to download the update. Once installed, that shoul dresolve the compatibility issue. Let us know how it goes.

The missing commands are due to the different platforms, there are some features in the Windows version that we are not able to incorporate on the Mac versoin. You may refer to this link for the detailed comparison.

With regard to the other products, no word on that yet on when or whether it will be made directly compatible on Mac.

Thank you,

Hi,

i have been using autocad for 6 years now and recently it has become my worse nightmare while working i can't seem to be able to finish my work on schedule because of the many bugs i face slowing down the process.

im using autocad 2015 for mac it was running just "fine" until i updated my software to OSX el Capitan. The hatch can't find the boundary properly, if i need to trim my hatch it freezes and either i have to force quit or the file simply crashes before i even click on the zone to trim.

while zooming in the screen goes blank for a while and gets back to its state only if i zoom back out then in again!!

I can't really figure out what could be the problem but i think that autocad is now not totally functional with El Capitan.

Besides my problem, i have few comments since i am an mac user.

1- i find it odd to notice missing commands on the mac version that exist on the windows version (ex: camera ).

2- When is 3ds Max (and Revit) ever going to be compatible with Mac OSX?

Thank you.

thank you for your reply.

i already installed the update 2 weeks ago, well can't say that that was a drastic change.

hopefully we will get even better performance enhancement 🙂

regards
