Hi,

I don't know if I'm correct how I understand your post. I do understand that you are searching for the settings to export text objects as geomtry or as text when creating a PDF with plot ur publish functionality.

This is an image which shows, starting from the plot dialog ... to the dialog with that setting (find attached image)

Thank you for posting your question here in the community. Did @Alfred.NESWADBA's suggestion and screenshot help you find the "Convert all text to geometry" setting?

My client (MacUser) received the PDF drawings with text all over in different positions and scales. Hope this helps. Regards Bernd S

Hi,

Have you installed SP1 for AutoCAD 2016?
Have you had a previous release of AutoCAD installed and migrated the settings when you first started 2016?

I'm not sure about your "convert text to geometry" settings as (a bad) decission was done to modify that setting on 2 different places now (with AutoCAD 2016).
You showed in the video that you changed the setting in the plot-dialog ==> button "PDF-Options". Can you try additionally in the plot dialog to

select the "DWG to PDF.pc3
right from that selection click on "Properties"
in this new dialog ==> seelct "Custom Properties" and when that is selected you get a button in the lower half "Custom Properties" ==> click it
And now see if here the "Convert all text to geometry" is checked

If nothing helped: Can you upload the drawing + your "DWG to PDF.pc3"?
